Election Deadlines

Following the joint meeting of NUS Boards on 16 January 2019, the Chief Returning Officer is now in a position to publish an election timeline and process for the year.

NUS Scotland liberation campaigns and sections for the year 2019-20

[All positions will be voluntary positions and their role will be to represent their group of students on the Scottish Executive Committee]

  • Women’s Representative
  • LGBT+ Representative
  • Disabled Students' Representative
  • Black Students' Representative
  • Trans Students' Representative
  • International Students' Representative
  • Postgraduate Students' Representative
  • Mature and Part-time Students' Representative

These positions are elected at separate, autonomous conferences, to be held in April:

Black Students' Conference

Disabled Students' Conference
